Hi Ellen: I received your question over at our blog--first off, what a cool gig--best wishes as you move forward with it! One thought that came to mind is the old standard "Buttons and Bows." Another is "The Lies of Handsome Men"--see Margaret Whiting's version for a nice one on youtube. "Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend" might be another. Maybe "I Am What I Am" from La Cage. I have to say I'm more familiar with classic cabaret tunes, so have limited knowledge of more modern stuff. However, Madonna did a song called "Vogue." If I think of something else, I'll drop you a line.

Hi Ellen. Saw u on Jeopardy! Cool. Just saw your invite for "in praise of w" in the lounge. The Triangle Nurse Appreciation Council is holding its annual event on May10th. Love to have you come and give a motivational speech to over 400 nurses and even put on a show?? :o) iPhone is convenient but letter pecking is not so cool. Let me know of your plans for that evening! Aimee--MOR
